Sutil to appeal against conviction

The ex-Force India drive is to appeal against his 18-month suspended sentence for grevious bodily harm. Hamilton will be called to give evidence at the appeal, having declined to do so at the last trial due to team commitments, after which Sutil called Hamilton a "coward" for not turning up. Force India have said that the case had no bearing on Sutil being dropped from the team for 2012.

hammy Lewis Hamilton
Who the frick are you calling a frickin' coward Adrian? I thought we were cool.
subtle Adrian Sutil
You were a great friend Lewis, until I, for the first time ever, actually needed you in some small tiny way. Where were you when my life hung in the balance?
fernando Fernando Alonso
Careful with your word usage there Sutil - I believe where criminal matters are concerned, the correct word to use is "hanged".
hammy Lewis Hamilton
I was frickin' busy, I had to do some mega technical work back at the factory. A little notice dude, that's all I ask, and I'm there for you, frickin' always.
subtle Adrian Sutil
Not enough notice? It was only 8 months since I stabbed him, allegedly, and I'm pretty sure I told you that very night that I was in the shit and I'd need your help. Allegedly.
fernando Fernando Alonso
I heard Hamilton wasn't even working the day of the trial, apparently some paparazzi guy snapped him in town buying man-earrings.
MycLaren Martin Whitmarsh
I can confirm Lewis' presence in Woking on the days in question. In fact I recall the 30th of January quite clearly as he showed his utter dedication to the team by turning up unexpectedly, despite having previously booked it as a day off.
ForceVJ Vijay Mallya
Let me be quite clear about this matter - our decision to let Adrian go had nothing to do with the court case in question.
mschumi Michael Schumacher
That's good to hear, it just wouldn't be fair to fire someone for something as minor as stabbing another team owner in the neck.
subtle Adrian Sutil
Hmm.. must've been based on performance then. Although my 42 points to crappy Paul's 27 last year doesn't really support that.
fernando Fernando Alonso
I heard rumours that it was you that quit the team Sutil, because they'd only let you drink champagne out of a mug.
diResta Paul di Resta
It is indeed strange that Hulkenberg would have been chosen over Adrian, when his practice session performance last year was not only underwhelming, but his accident-prone nature also severly damaged my own race weekends and my eventual championship position.
TheIncredibleHulk Nico Hulkenberg
If you thought Adrian was scary in that nightclub Paul, you really should avoid making me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry.
DC David Coulthard
That sounds really harsh Martin, I thought capital punishment was banned years ago.
MBrundle Martin Brundle
What the hell are you talking about now David?
DC David Coulthard
I've heard about those "suspended" sentences in Guantanamo, they tie their hands above their heads for days on end.
MBrundle Martin Brundle
Christ, that's not what a suspended sentence means, he's just on probation for a while so he doesn't reoffend.
DC David Coulthard
I guess that makes sense, alcohol is usually a big factor in this kind of thing.
MBrundle Martin Brundle
Give me strength... it's probation David, not prohibition - it's got nothing to do with alcohol.
DC David Coulthard
Don't be so naive Martin, it was with a champagne glass in a nightclub - how could you possibly think alcohol wasn't involved?
