Raikkonen takes first comeback victory in Abu Dhabi

Kimi Raikkonen justified the faith of the Lotus team by taking victory at Yas Marinas, despite a late charge from Alonso. Champion Vettel, who started from the pitlane, was assisted by two safety car periods in his charge to third, thus maintaining a 10-point championship lead. Drivers were however criticized for their use of profane language in the podium interviews with ex-racer David Coulthard after the race.

fernando   Fernando Alonso
Great drive Raikkonen, I guess given it is three years since you won and 25 years since Senna was the last Lotus driver to win you must be overwhelmed with emotion at the significance of it.
fernando   Fernando Alonso
Christ, I didn't realise you had a speech prepared, save it for the Oscars. I hope you're making the most of it, partying like James Hunt and getting pissed out of your skull?
IceMan   Kimi Raikonnen
Yes yes yes yes, I'm doing all of that. You don't have to remind every ten seconds.
fernando   Fernando Alonso
Ok, anyway I was hoping Boullier could clear one thing up for me since I believe it may have been me who last won for the team and not Ayrton Senna. Are you calling yourselves Lotus, Renault, Enstone, or The Artist Formerly Known As Prince?
Boulotus   Eric Boullier
For marketing pruposes we will stick with Senna being the last driver to win for "Enstone", as I am now calling us to save any confusion. Just a massive thanks from the team Kimi, if you can keep this up we can win the title next year!
IceMan   Kimi Raikonnen
Just leave me alone, I know what to do.
mschumi   Michael Schumacher
Given my own chances of winning on my comeback were hampered by driving a silver crapbox for three years, count yourself lucky to have had a good car Kimi.
IceMan   Kimi Raikonnen
I was having a shit.
sbstnvtl   Sebastian Vettel
Yes! That is what I am talking about. Don't stop believing guys. Never lift! Y-Abu Dhabi dooooooooooooo!
Horner   Christian Horner
You are phenemonal Seb! Even starting from the pitlane as a result of another FIA conspiracy to end our dominance didn't stop you. Adrian and I have discussed it and we are trying to find out which of our rivals surreptitiously removed fuel from your car after qualifying.
sbstnvtl   Sebastian Vettel
Great job boys, there was a chance to fuck it up, just like Mark did, haha! Yes! Rinnnnnng-a-dinnnnnnnnng-ding!
Horner   Christian Horner
We were fortunate that Adrian was able to remotely control the sister Red Bull to create an incident to bring out the final safety car for you Seb. Most alarmingly, while we have been repeatedly frustrated by interference in perfect Seb's title challenge from an Australian driving the sister car, we now have a problem with an Australian driving for the sister team. On this basis we are currently investigating any Webber-Ricciardo-FIA links to the campaign to destroy us.
wibbah   Mark Webber
Fair dinkum Christian mate, I already feel like a flamin galah after I dinged three cars during the race, I was almost as bad as that nutcase Grosjean. I was just trying to bag the Constructor's title for the boys.
fernando   Fernando Alonso
Don't worry Webber, given the epic paranioa Horner is suffering he probably hasn't ruled out Jason Donovan as a suspect.
JV   Jacques Villeneuve
Controversial Jacques is going to stick his neck on the line here and say that it might perhaps be a sad sign of the times that drivers are maybe losing it by swearing and turning the air blue on the podium. Drivers like Michael and I were super-controversial without using obscene language.
mschumi   Michael Schumacher
Loosen up twathead. In any case I heard your album was given an obscene rating for being so offensively crap. Also, look up my pitlane speech to Coulthard at Spa 1998 to see proper usage of swear-words.
DC   David Coulthard
The podium on Sunday reminded me a lot of that day Michael, lots of swearing and it was raining really heavily. I guess if drivers are naughty they'll be punished by not getting anything from Santa.
MBrundle   Martin Brundle
It didn't rain on the podium at Abu Dhabi David, it's in the desert for Christ's sake, Vettel poured a load of drink over your head. It's up to the FIA president to clamp down on drivers behaving inappropriately.
DC   David Coulthard
No disrespect Martin, I've never written him a letter so he hasn't been to my house but I don't think President Obama is as powerful as Santa.
bestofbritish   Jenson Button
Oooh David, I'd like a President erect. Swearing is optional but things will definitely turn blue if you want to slide down my chimney.
