Montezemelo claims Ecclestone is too old to run F1

Ferrari supremo Luca di Montezemelo has launched a scathing attack on aspects of the sport, not only criticizing the lack of testing opportunities, but questioning whether Bernie Ecclestone has reached an age where he unsuitable for his role. The comments are a riposte to Ecclestone who said it was a "complete joke" that Ferrari had written to the FIA concerning Sebastian Vettel's overtake of a Toro Rosso in Brazil.

Montezuma   Luca di Montezemolo
Greetings mortals. Let thy hearts arrest in anticipation of my wrath. Once more the chalice of victory has been poisoned and passed to an enemy. What flags of cowardice are these that deny us? The official flag-bearers of the Court of Maranello shall be deployed in future to pave the way for the Prancing Horse.
Domenicali   Stefano Domenicali
We did everything we could President di Montezemelo, unfortunately our letter to the FIA did not bring us the title which we only lost because our season was just 18 races, not 20 like the others.
Montezuma   Luca di Montezemolo
Silence you sniveling skivvy. Too often now your incompetence has cost thine Emperor. Were it not for the miracles of the golden child Alonso my scarlet chariots would lie in disgrace, red not with the virile blood of a warrior but red with the crimson shame of the weak.
fernando   Fernando Alonso
Your eloquence and wisdom humble me kind Emperor, I have no miracles to believe in, I only perform my miracles within the rules.
massa   Felipe Massa
You should have won the Suppository of the Year award at the BRDC ceremony the other night Fernando.
fernando   Fernando Alonso
Actually, I do believe in miracles, I thought Santa Claus had a better chance of being on the podium with me in Brazil than you did. I'd be crying too if I felt that third place ever felt like a win.
Bernie   Bernie Ecclestone
Call a bloody spade a spade Fernando, it's all a joke isn't it. Who cares about yellow lights and some ponce waving a flag at the side of the track, I told them to get a few decent looking Brazilian birds in those bikini things to be marshalls, and then we'd have had proper slow-motion footage of them.
Montezuma   Luca di Montezemolo
Impudence elf-creature! There arrives the epoch where the elders no longer speak words with wisdom to quell the most fierce wolf. Submit thy will to the force of the Scarlet Kingdom or relinquish thine powers.
Bernie   Bernie Ecclestone
Stop prattling on Luca, you're old enough to get a bloody bus pass yourself. Anyway, as the saying goes, you're only as old as the woman you feel, so really Uncle Bernie is only 35, plenty of life in the old dog.
fernando   Fernando Alonso
You might well be as old as the woman you feel Bernie, but you'll never be as tall as her.
Horner   Christian Horner
While Bernie may consider this affair to be a joke, we at Red Bull, despite our reputation as spontaneous fun-loving party animals, believe it is no laughing matter. Indeed had Helmut not contracted some locals to man strategic marshall posts we could have lost the title, and Seb would not have been waving those three fingers for me!
sbstnvtl   Sebastian Vettel
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessssssss! Ha ha, loser guys with dirty tricks.
Horner   Christian Horner
Relax perfect Seb,as regards the dirty tricks we are investigating a number of issues surrounding the Brazil race. Firstly, Adrian was studying unusual clouds at Interlagos and believes our rivals may have used some kind of Weather Warfare technology to cause the rain. Also, given the overtake controversy involved a Toro Rosso, we surmise that the sabotage that spread from the sister car to the sister team has now escalated.
wibbah   Mark Webber
Stone the flamin crows Christian, I was trying to do Seb a fair-dinkum favour in Brazil.
Horner   Christian Horner
Actually, if Seb had received a post-race penalty, any cars ahead of him in Brazil would have contributed to his title loss. Adrian and I were considering an appeal to the FIA to have car number 2, driven by competitor Mark Webber, disqualified on the basis that it was running a 2010 specification front wing under 2012 regulations.
diResta   Paul di Resta
I think it is unfortunate that all this talk of world titles, yellow flags, and Hulkenberg confirming his reputation as a crasher, has overshadowed the most significant aspect of the Brazil race. Speaking of the elderly, the retirement of Michael Schumacher finally marks the end of an era, and the torch has been passed to the next supremely dominant F1 superstar. Motorsport historians will inevitably refer to this period as when F1 entered the Di Resta era.
hammy   Lewis Hamilton
I mean, WTF? Brazil was the end of the "yellow helmet plus McLaren" era dude. It should have been a totally epic win for me, I had a mega-frick-out when Hulkenberg ruined my race.
TheIncredibleHulk   Nico Hulkenberg
You're all making me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry.
mschumi   Michael Schumacher
Well Lewis, welcome to the "yellow helmet plus Shitbox" era. As for you Di Resta, motorsport historians might remember Brazil for you stuffing your car backwards into a wall. Strangely, unlike your teammate and Perez, the next "F1 superstar" wasn't snapped up by any teams. Christ, even the BBC started ignoring you after your season turned shit.
bestofbritish   Jenson Button
You can enter my era any time you want Paul. I'll pass you my torch if you want to assert your dominance, and it's definitely not a problem if you want to stuff it in backwards.
