Alonso would support Massa F1 title bid

Fernando Alonso has claimed that he would willingly help his teammate to win an F1 title if the situation arose. While defending the under-fire Massa yet again he claimed, "Felipe is one of the best drivers in the world". Massa himself claimed it would be "absurd" for Ferrari not to want him to be able to beat Alonso. Massa spun Alonso around in Ferrari's Wroom Ice Kart-race, although Alonso recovered to take victory.

massa   Felipe Massa
I got very emotional when I heard this Fernando, finally you've shown me some support. I don't think every driver would have done the things I have for Ferrari in the last few seasons.
fernando   Fernando Alonso
Well, no talented drivers would have. By the way I'm saving my emotion for my Oscar acceptance speech. "He is one of the best in the world" - I'm still not sure how I managed to say that with a straight face.
massa   Felipe Massa
I knew it was too good to be true, I'm glad now that I spun you out of that ice-race at the weekend.
fernando   Fernando Alonso
Yeah, you spun me round and I still came back and beat you. That collision will cost you about three tenths when I'm adjusting your car set-up with your mechanics during the season. I've a feeling 2013 might be more "absurd" thank you expect.
rubens   Rubens Barrichello
This is so unfair, Brazilian drivers never get treated fairly at Ferrari. Michael never said he would help me to win an F1 title when we were teammates. I think you should go on Oprah Winfrey to apologize and admit you cheated to all your 7 titles too Michael.
mschumi   Michael Schumacher
Rule 1: Don't get caught. Rule 2: Never confess, ever! I heard you were shipped off to the Brazilian stock car championship after finishing 12th in your "rookie" Indycar season. Maybe you should go on Oprah, she likes interviewing disgraced has-beens with no employment prospects.
JV   Jacques Villeneuve
Controversial Jacques is going to stick his neck on the line here to defend Rubens and say that, as someone who has competed in Brazilian stock cars, perhaps the car equality in that series potentially makes it a truer test of driver pedigree than F1.
mschumi   Michael Schumacher
It reeks more of Pedigree Chum me thinks. That championship really is a who's who of Brazilian talent, Pizzonia, Zonta, Burti, and now Barrichello. The Betty Ford clinic takes in fewer rejects than that. By the way Kojak, I heard Boeing have found a solution to their latest crisis through your music.
JV   Jacques Villeneuve
That's great Michael, I always knew my album had the power to help people in difficulty to soar to new heights and to fly high, to use an artistic metaphor.
mschumi   Michael Schumacher
Not quite the case Mozart. Apparently the reliability issues were traced to a disgruntled employee playing your CD on repeat at the Dreamliner assembly plant. They're considering suing you for industrial sabatoge. Congrats dipstick.
fernando   Fernando Alonso
By the way I hear that the BBC have hired a new anchor to replace Jake 'Tweet me" Humphreys, one Suzi Perry.
mschumi   Michael Schumacher
Is that the same Suzi Perry who used to present the Beeb's MotoGp coverage?
fernando   Fernando Alonso
Yep, and insulted the F1 community by making an uninformed speech every single broadcast about how shit Formula 1 was, advising BBC viewers not to watch it.
mschumi   Michael Schumacher
And brainlessly moaned about the lack of overtaking in F1, claiming it wasn't real motorsport, thereby implying all F1 fans were clueless idiots?
fernando   Fernando Alonso
The very person. An interesting opinion given that an overtake in MotoGp is about as valuable as a piece of analysis from Eddie Jordan. The BBC's choice of words in appointing her the new F1 anchor was interesting, quoting "her love and knowledge of motorsport".
mschumi   Michael Schumacher
Funny how she suddenly decided F1 entered the real motorsport category when the BBC offered her a new contract to travel the world to present it.
SuzukiPerry   Suzi Perry
Hi guys, I can't wait to get started on the new season. It's going to be interesting to see the effect of all the changes, especially with the sport's most exciting star moving to a new team, and the retirement of a legendary world champion.
mschumi   Michael Schumacher
Ok, us F1 peasants can be open-minded. Maybe we'll give you a chance then. You seem to know what's going on, and most importantly you've already mentioned my good self.
SuzukiPerry   Suzi Perry
Actually Michael, I was referring to the retirement of Casey Stoner, and Valentino Rossi moving back to Yamaha. Roll on the pre-season test at Sepang!
fernando   Fernando Alonso
Shouldn't that be Jerez? Oh I see, the bikes are at Sepang. This is almost as depressing as the day I saw the "MotoGp News" section appear on Autosport.com. Come back Jim Rosenthal, all is forgiven.
